John A. Bertolini

"A man is what he thinks about all day long." - Emerson

I'm a Game Designer.

More generally, I'm a dedicated and passionate entity that brings unrelenting focus to my work.  I see the world through the lenses of Project Management and Game Design - I can't help it, it's something I can't turn off.  Someday, I'll be able to pay the cost of living with that talent, but for now, I'm my own boss and I make myself work for free.

To my fellow team members, I contribute my wide-ranging aptitudes and interests, adroit flexibility, and rigorous life experience.  I have a unique skill set that can't be measured, but can be felt.  My goal is excellence in every project I undertake.  I will settle for nothing less.

John is a:

  • Game Designer
  • Project Manager
  • Producer
  • Super-Dad
  • Philosopher-King
  • Level 18 Wizard

Aspirations

I am always gathering information to add to my catalog of ideas.

Naturally, I love traveling to just about anywhere new and learning about a wide range of subjects.

When the time machine technology finally becomes affordable enough for the common man, you probably won't see me again.

Until then, I absorb as much information as I can from the traditional methods of books, the internet, movies, divination, and drinking alcohol.

Here's What John is working on currently:

Prosperity (Board Game) - My most recent and most fully developed board game. I demoed this one at GENCON 2014 and am actively looking to Publish. Currently undergoing testing and tweaking.

NORA (Video Game) - Working as a Producer for GravTech Games to develop an amazing Sci-Fi themed episodic psychological thriller. Crowdfunding for NORA goes live March 23rd, 2015 at 12:00pm EST.

Fate, Deeds, & Glory (Board Game) - One of the first Board Games that I designed and created through the prototype phase. Currently in the testing phase of production, though mostly on hold due to other projects.

Role Playing Games - Right up there with Game Design and my son, my GF, and donuts... RPGs are one of the things with which I spend most of my leisure time.

Artwork - I'm not a professional, but I'm always learning and trying new things.
